Billing & Refund Policy

This Billing & Refund Policy explains how subscriptions to Streama Studios are charged, renewed, cancelled, and refunded. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Plans & pricing
Streama offers a free Plan and paid Plans (for example, Studio Pro and Studio Max). The features, limits, and prices of each Plan are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Prices are stated in the currency displayed at checkout and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.
2. Billing & payment processing
Paid Plans are billed in advance through our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us and our processor to charge your selected payment method for the Plan fee and any applicable taxes for each billing cycle. You are responsible for providing valid, current payment information. We do not store full card details; they are handled by the processor under its own terms and security standards.
3. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, as selected) at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will charge your payment method on each renewal date without further action by you.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard billing settings or by contacting billing@streamastudios.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid features remain active until the end of the current paid period, after which your Account moves to the free Plan. Cancelling does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for the current period, except as set out below or required by law.
5. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused features, or downgrades. We may, at our sole discretion, grant a refund or credit in cases such as:
- a duplicate or clearly erroneous charge;
- a documented prolonged Service outage materially affecting your paid use; or
- where a refund is required by the consumer-protection law that applies to you.
To request a refund, contact billing@streamastudios.com within 14 days of the charge with your Account email and the transaction details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction. Where you have a statutory right to cancel or to a refund, that right applies in addition to this policy.
7. Plan changes & proration
If you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately and we may charge a prorated amount for the remainder of the current cycle, or apply a credit, as indicated at checkout. If you downgrade, the change generally takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and reduced limits or features will apply from then.
8. Price changes
We may change Plan prices. We will give you reasonable advance notice (for example, by email or in-product), and the new price applies to your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
9. Failed payments & taxes
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade paid features until payment succeeds. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and levies associated with your subscription, other than taxes based on our net income.
10. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at billing@streamastudios.com so we can resolve it. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your Account pending resolution.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Billing & Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and continued use of paid features after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
